I made the mistake of assuming the AD410 was designed like other Amcrest products which I've been happy with. Instead, they removed the web server front end and added unwanted dependency on cloud services in the firmware.
Worse, this device is absurd with how it handles connectivity. My security related devices are isolated and blocked from the internet for obvious reasons. Instead, this one device floods the network every 125 milliseconds trying to send data to Amcrest. There seems to be no timeout in the retry loop, or it's using the wrong timer granularity, or it's spinning up hundreds of async connection threads. It needs to be fixed.
The lack of web front end is unfortunate but it works fine with the old app and third party security cam viewers. The only problem is the annoying flashing light because it thinks it's offline and the network flooding. Amcrest needs to include a setting to disable unneeded cloud connectivity (and add timeouts in their loops).

Re: AD410 Network Flooding
Are you saying a factory reset will enable the web portal or that it changes connectivity retry? What is the expected connection behavior? Is this a known problem?
Re: AD410 Network Flooding
I am not sure what the issue you are having. What I do know is that if the AD410 has some changes to the video even with Amcrest tools it will make the camera have network connection issues and can even make the camera say so if you were at the camera location and audio wasn't turned off.. SO with the issue it might being a hardware issue and needs to be reset. If it hasn't been setup fresh or reset anytime since the issue started, I would personally reset it..
Be Safe.
