AD410 doorbell and wireless chimes

Post by NickEarle37 »

Hi,

Has anyone been able to setup the AD410, SmartHome and a plugin wireless chime?

I'd like to have a couple of chimes plugged into UK sockets around the house so that we know when someone is at the door.

It would also be great if SmartThings could use the Chimes for other purposes.

I just setup AD410 with Honeywell wire to wireless adapter and have 3 Honeywell series 9 chimes on battery connect to it. Work well after hours of heachche.

Could you, please, share how you did it? I was waiting for the original amcrest chime for the AD410 doorbell but it is never back in stock. With your schema can one use the "Honeywell wire to wireless adapter" (https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-Wirele ... op?ie=UTF8) and connect to an "RDWL915A Series 9 Wired and Wireless Doorbell" (https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-Home-R ... 110&sr=1-4) for example?

Amazon has sale on AD410 for $127 until this weekend. I use that wire to wireless adapter with Honeywell Home RDWL917AX2000/E. The one in your link should work but then you need to add Amcrest chime kit. With wire to wireless adapter, the wire from doorbell + chime kit to A1, the wire from transformer + chime kit to AC1. Follow this diagram https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/ar ... ime-AD410-. Just treat the wire to wireless adapter like mechanical chime. From smart home app, I added mechanical chime (DO NOT add as digital chime).

When I installed, I added mechanical chime to test first then add wire to wireless adapter.

Hi Gade!

I think I was not clear in my question: I have an AD410, but what is always out of stock is the wireless chime from Amcrest, whose code I don't remember now. Thank you for posting the Honeywell Home chime model you are using, and the link to the connections! I'll use the chime kit that came with my AD410.

Thanks!

Not sure if they discontinue. I did look at it too but Honeywell is more appeal to me and it support up to 6 devices e.g. sensor, chime, etc.
