Recent purchaser of an AD410 doorbell. I had initially bought it for integration in to my Synology Surveillance Station, which I've been able to accomplish.
I did start to like the functionality in the SmartHome app where a doorbell ring would show up on my phone and allow me to view and initiate two-way communication. Problem is the app is terrible - it doesn't give me proper snapshots, takes long to connect to the doorbell, and I can't configure the motion, human, and call alerts without having multiple and extra notifications coming through.
Is there any alternative to the SmartHome app for answering calls on the doorbell? Ideally, I'd like it to all come through Surveillance Station, but it doesn't seem to recognize the AD410 completely (the Synology will use the AD410 human detection, and allows for two-way communication, but there is no recognition of the doorbell press).
