I'm interested in purchasing the AD410 but wanted to ask if there is a possible solution to have a chime play through my Google Nest Wifi Points when someone presses the doorbell button, either through Blue Iris/HA or other.
Does anyone have any ideas?
AD410 - Chime through Google Nest Wifi
Re: AD410 - Chime through Google Nest Wifi
Yes, it's doable via Home Assistant (don 't know about BI). You can trigger any action you want upon either motion detect or doorbell press, including casting any sound or text to multiple Google Nest speakers.
I have an automation that if the doorbell is pressed when we are not home and it is late at night, very loud barking dogs (mp3) are sent throughout the house speakers.
You will find more information searching for AD110 or AD410 on the HA community forum.
Edit: I just realized you may be asking about playing chimes on a Google Nest Wifi Mesh router. I have no experience with them, but if they support casting like any other Nest speaker, then it should work.
