I am closing on a house this friday. I did my research and I decided on the AD110. I am worried that this will not work with the old school bell chime that is currently in the house, it looks like this 55-4G5 - EDWARDS SIGNALING BELL 4IN 24V60HZ . Once I get in the house I will find out exactly what kind it is, but it is old.
If it did work, how long would it ring a few seconds? or just one tap on the bell?
I really hope this will work without having to buy a new chime because I don't want to remove the old bell.
my other option would be to go with another brand that bypasses the bell and uses a plug-in wireless chime.

hi @Projump and welcome to the forum. it should work with a mechanical chime. ultimately you have to test it.
