The wedge kit allows you to angle your Amcrest doorbell upward or downward at a 5°, 10° or 15° angle. Angling the Amcrest doorbell using the wedge kit can help to reduce unwanted motion events on areas above street level or on siding that causes your doorbell to point in an undesired position.
The corner kit allows you to angle your Amcrest doorbell at either a 15°, 30°, or 45° angle. The kit is typically used to angle your Amcrest doorbell away from a wall which helps to improve motion detection and get a better view of visitors approaching the door.
Yep, that info had been posted in early April I believe. Not listed for sale on Amazon or elsewhere.
I had made my own from a wood shim to point BOTH down and angle from the wall, cut to size and painted. Certainly not as cool as one made with a 3D printer, but works and looks fine and is fastened securely.
I chatted up an Amcrest sales person today to find an ETA on the corner kit. They did not have any idea what I was talking about until I gave them the link above for the Amcrest installation guide. They did not know what to type for 10+ minutes. Finally they typed that they have not ETA on when it will be available..
I think they are talking about ones from Amcrest... However before any were released I tried to get blueprint so i could send to printer I have not had that yet.. Then next found that there was some that were being reused from another brand the the maker had already printed out some for the other and just added holes for Amcrest camera to fit it.. Now they look like they are starting to make them for Amcrest and not just drill the holes to fit...
Sadly I need mine to fit Dutch Lap so I have to wait until I can make my own or find one made for Dutch lap 4.5
