ad110 failed to get config from device information

Hello,
From the amcrest smarthome app, when I select the wheel/settings icon the device information page always gives a "failed to get config" message. Many settings are not available/changeable.
i.e. motion detection zone returns the same failed message.
motion range allows me to change the setting, but that doesn't seem to result in any change.

fyi, events are consistently being triggered and stored. I can review them from the app or surveillance station (SS).
I am not using the sd card since I have SS. Possibly this is still required for some functions?

I can't say I don't use SS but I have a Micro SD card installed in all my SmartHome products as a back up to the connection of my Amcrest NVRs.. Wifi is kind of a pain if it is not direct or close to the router.. Plus with all the BS going on with Wifi Jammers it is better to have a back up of what happened in that moment using the Micro SD card footage..
