Amcrest cameras have good reception. I am in a relatively small area, and I made sure my wifi was not being congested by a nearby wifi.
Here is me pinging my camera shortly before trying to join it to the cloud.
Within a minute or so, I tried to join to amcrest cloud:

I have two of these and they both seem to do the same thing. Been running them for a while now, and just started happening within the past few months. Very odd...
