Just this moment I saw a message on my phone from my Amcrest Smart Home app that it detected motion.
I also just checked the bell, it works.
It seems now this works again.
I didn't actively update the app or my phone or the firmware of the camera.
Suddenly no notifications anymore with Amcrest Smart Home and AD410 on Android.

I got my update (Pixel 6) and it works now - getting notifications. If you're still having issues, try:
1. Click-hold on Amcrest Icon and select "App info"
2. Click on the Notification item
3. Toggle All notification switches OFF and then ON again
4. Exit
5. Cross fingers
6. Consider a Blood Sacrifice.
7. Pray...etc
Good luck!

Working as of this am here also. No changes were made on my side. Guessing a certificate expired on Amcrest side. Either way glad it's working.

Don't know but for me works one moment and then no notice the next. Hope it's just hiccups
Be Safe.

Same here, receiving notifications as of this morning,
however, strangely, no vibration with the sound and visual notification. All phone and app vibrate settings are on.

Received my first notification in a couple weeks this morning. Hopefully this remains fixed! I started shopping around for something else a few days ago. Pretty disappointed with this doorbell. I already had to hack a new battery in the doorbell not long ago and then 2 weeks where I couldn't get notifications. There hasn't been any FW updates in years. I went with Amcrest because I could self host and they were a good value. There isn't much value though when they don't support their products.

Buy the Reolink doorbell and don't look back. ONVIF/RTSP, PoE or dual band wi-fi, SD card, local, NAS whatever storage you want, completely cloud free/subscription free operation on any IP platform you have or completely independent with its own app. Great Tech Support if required.
The end.

This is one of the two I was looking at. I recently ran a few Cat6 runs in my house. Used POE for a couple Ubiquity APs. When I stopped getting notifications I thought a POE doorbell would make a lot of sense. I looked if a POE doorbell existed and Reolink was the first thing I came across. I'm sure running cat6 to my door will be more of a pain than I would hope. Once it was in though it would be pretty awesome to not have to worry about wifi at all. I want to run a line to my garage anyway at some point. Just don't want to do the workPogo wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 11:56 am Buy the Reolink doorbell and don't look back. Running PoE woudn't be any more difficult than running a doorbell wire. If one is already there (doorbell wire), just use it as a pull-line backward to your network.
Otherwise, dual band wi-fi and a mini plug-in wall extender in the hallway (if necessary) and you're golden if PoE is a hassle. Only issue is they are either a wi-fi or PoE unit and don't currently come with both options in the same device.
And tomorrow is Prime Day! LOL

Personally I could easily put a LAN cable in there, and I have PoE. But that doesn't guarantee that problems like the one from this thread don't happen. The problem, in this case, was the notification, not the WLAN or LAN connection. Notification problems could also happen with other companies.Fifty50chance wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 2:17 pmThis is one of the two I was looking at. I recently ran a few Cat6 runs in my house.
