Re: ProHD No Video using HTTPS

Bumping this again, is there any resolution on this issue? We really should be able to use HTTPS with DDNS from outside of our network. I really don't like sending my credentials in the clear every time I log in. Since it sounds like Melvin is the only support guy here... Melvin, can you please prov...

Re: Firmware update missing release notes

The company is a joke, as I am now finding out too late. There is one guy, named Melvin, who is doing his best to manage this forum, but it's obvious that his leadership just sent him here as a fall guy. Best of luck to you Mark.

Firmware update missing release notes

The camera is telling me there is a firmware update from version 8 to 9. However, when I go to this page: https://amcrest.com/firmware I do not see release notes. Given the disastrous nature of other firmware rollouts, I am not going to upgrade until I know what's contained in it. Can you please not...

Re: New Firmware Update for IP2M-841 today?

Hard reset on the back fixed problems saving settings for me. Give it a try.

after checking ... I don't experience that issue. ... can others please confirm if they've encountered it: All adjustments to the main record schedule page under Storage -> Schedule fail to save. Thanks oldtechy, posting this here for others to see: I did a hard reset with the button in the back, a...

Re: Max SD Card Size

Their specs say it's 64GB, but mine seems to use a 128GB card just fine and fill the whole thing up when set to continuous recording. On an 8Mbps stream, that's about 3 days worth.

Re: Adjustments and changes dont work

Also, I am unable to change the recoding schedule, as of now I have it set to record all the time, but when I change it to only record motion and click the "save" button it says "save failed" and still uses the previous setting. I believe this started happening with the new firm...

Re: Lost MJPEG encode for Main Stream after firmware Upgrade on IP2M-841B

TheUberOverlord,

Since you are an admin here, are you in touch with the Amcrest team? This firmware release is riddled with severe bugs. Do you know if they'll be fixing it soon?

Thanks.

Re: New Firmware Update for IP2M-841 today?

Can confirm that motion detection is basically disabled, and only continuous recording is allowed. All modifications to the recording schedule page fail to save. How the hell did this get by QA?

Amcrest: Can a site admin please let us know when these bugs will be fixed?
