I noticed that the shipped firmware was several years out of date so I upgraded to the latest version currently on the Amcrest downloads page. Ever since the upgrade, the Reolink cameras no longer trigger motion detection at all. When I open the settings screen to select the motion detection region, I am limited to only the red detection region, and the options menu where you select the different color regions and their individual sensitivity and threshold levels are not there. The single SV3C brand camera still has this menu and the motion detection works completely normally on this camera. Both camera types are using Onvif and operating on PoE through a PoE switch.
I triple checked the recording and alarm settings and schedules, tried defaulting all the NVR settings, as well as doing a full factory reset on the NVR and all the cameras. I upgraded all the cameras to their latest firmware and nothing seems to have helped. The fact that the motion detection worked normally in a previous (much older) NVR firmware version makes me feel that there must be something more going on than just incompatible brands.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
