Please does anyone know how I can format a 6TB drive in FAT32? Amcrest support keeps saying the NVR is designed not to format drives larger than 4TB, but I should format it externally. FAT32 won't format drives larger than 2TB. How do I do this?

If you have Windows, you could try these tips.

I would say try a different HD.
I have an 8TB installed in my NVR. I formatted it in the NVR.
I had a thread about it.

If you're dead set on formatting it externally,
From a command prompt running as administrator, Type "format/FS:FAT32 X:" where "X" is the designated drive.
