NV4108-A2 Custom size windows

I have purchased a couple of the NV4108-A2 recorder's and for the most part I really like them, one of my pet peeves is that there is not an option for more sized live windows, for example I have 6 camera's and I don't see any option to have 6 equal sized windows, I can select 6 windows with one larger and the other 5 smaller or select 9 and have 3 windows blank using up screen space, am I missing something and/or if not, is there a section for suggestions to Amcrest.

Couple of things, You could try using ASP with your NVR or you can use Edge with IE tab and or you can use IE tab in Chrome. IT is little easier to use it in Edge seeing it is a Microsoft thing.. However my guess is what is going on is that when you access your NVR in WebUI that it only has 4ch mode, This isn't 100% the case always. So here is a couple of pictures and you might see what I am talking about here. If WebUI isn't what your looking for help with. I might be able to still help.. First 2 pictures is from Chrome, One of them has what I think yours does and it is showing the fast live area only 4 windows and that is one of the down falls of using Chrome.. One window shows what it would look like with out fast live option and other 2 show what it looks like in Chrome and then in IE and what it would look like in Edge with IE tab active for the NVR.. Also looking at the last picture you can also see other formats for opening windows with Grid more then 4 Please keep in mind anything on the Right for a Grid will have a impact on the NVR's GUI. If your NVR WebUI don't offer that part or the Impact isn't same as my older Machine then your good if it does use with Caution.,

Also to show what I was talking about with the left side. This picture is using my 4116E-HS, in webUI then I clicked the 16grid on the bottom right, Then using my NVR GUI you can see me accessing the Admin Main Menu. That is why I said use Caution if yours acts the same way I would hope yours being newer has that flaw fixed. I don't know as no one has mentioned if it is still there or not..

But that window you can see my GUI from NVR and everything I do in that mode. However this isn't the case for my 7108-AI DVR it will show GRID mode in my DVR however the GUI menu don't translate to the User and safer path.

I am using Chrome with IE tab and I have tried edge with the IE simulation with the same results, I can see the different built in configs. but not 6 equal size windows or any other ways for making other windows configs.

Ok Well with that it looks like maybe the Zero Channel issue is removed unless it needs to be turned on. Look at Display and see if it can be turned on look at first picture below on where it can be turned on. Some devices like my 4116E-HS, and many others are already on by design..

Also something to look at, ASP it has the ability to have a 6ch split and others.. Look at the 2nd picture here..

I just checked that display screen and mine does not have that menu selection.
Also I don't see that menu selectin on the bottom right of my screen like yours does. When you say ASP not sure I understand that one.

Yes I have it installed and setup, I have been using it off and on, It does work pretty good, I have been using it to load all may cameras from 2 different network of cameras in 2 different states. I was just surprised that I could get the same layout in my NV1408-A2's
