Hi again, NV2104E. Is there a way to automate the backup function? it'd be awesome to, say, just after midnight copy all files form the previous day to my Local PC. And have the destination drive be a OneDrive folder that only keep stuff in the cloud and not on the local PC. Figure I can get a good long timelize of data backed up given the abundance of OneDrive storage I have.
Thanks!
Is there a way to automate backup?

Not that I know of. However if you wanted to maybe setup Events to be sent to a FTP server you could then setup your FTP server folder to have one drive access?

Thanks again!
Doesn't look like my model has any FTP options anywhere. Sigh. So close and yet so far...

Your NVR does have a FTP..
So I don't remember what my 2108E-HS looked like before the new FW it has been so long now however here is a couple of pictures of the new 4.0 FW location and the older 3.2xx Firmware Location.
One is under Storage on the left side will then say FTP and the other is under Network and left side FTP.. Please see pictures below

(sorry for the delayed response; not getting email notifications again
)
So my network screen only has these options:

and storage these:

this is in IE mode in Edge.
System firmware is latest and greatest. Well, the "latest and final", anyway.

I probably need to upgrade to something that still has active development.

Re: Is there a way to automate backup?
Very good. Sorry about that, I keep forgetting that was something missing on the 21xx-hs series. I do have a 2108E-HS that is on it's way out. I think I have found the issue with the system, I am not 100% sure as I have others and I have just set it to the side. I did connect it just now and I was not able to get access to the Ethernet port, So there is a Power issue with Ethernet. If I do a search in the NVR I can find devices over my normal port however if I try to connect to them or if I try to access my WebUI I can't. IP Tools don't show up the NVR in the list and my P2P never comes on.. So What I wanted to do was look under WebUI and see if there was something in there that could be setup for FTP as I Can't remember but seems odd that they would have left FTP out of the device..
So here is the deal.. If you look at your device Specs it says it has FTP. So that is why I wanted to try and access the WebUI to see if maybe I can access the FTP off the WebUI and the FTP access is just missing from the NVR's GUI????
My 2108E-HS is the same Version as your and same build date as well.
