Problem solved!
longedge , . knew it had to be something stupid cause the cameras were being recoginized on all platforms......so after a full review with your help/brainstorming from above...
" if you go to device manager and select the camera, then you can view the password that you have set by clicking on the eye icon next to "password".
'the culprit was revealed!
