The NVR automatically assigns the first camera you plug into it an IP with a port that is blocked by default in every modern browser
"xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:10080" 10080 is unsafe and universally blocked.
How can I change this port number so I don't have to hack firefox everytime I have to access the cam on ch1 directly, since neither the NVR WebUI nor ASP is capable of accessing all the settings for the camera
So using Chrome for some strange reason they have it setup that way. If I am using Chrome and I don't but if I do and I need or want to access my camera that is connected to POE NVRs then I just click on a different channel first. Meaning like on my 4216E-AI NVR if I am using Chome and I have a camera on port aka channel 14 that I want to mess with the settings on, I will click on one of the other POE connected channels like port 1-13 first, it will open up my NVRs IP address and add in port 10080, then I will click the e next to Port 14 and it will again open NVRs IP with port 10081..
Seeing I use IE mode in Edge when I am accessing my NVRs I don't have to worry about that as port 10080 works just fine..
