Log into the Camera, Click setup, then network then tcp/IP page there should be a tab around Center Top that Says P2P... YOu want to click that and make sure it is Enabled...
Once it is Enabled you will want to Re add it to your phone.. First if you don't have access to the QR code on the camera be sure to get the SN from it you will need that to add it back...
Bring up the app. Remove the Camera from the App, Then click the + button to add a device, Then pick the type Wifi or POE etc.. Then next option need to change already connected towards the top, then P2P, It will ask you for Serial Number, Then next page you name the camera and put in user name and password... Then click Start live view...
IF your having issues when your out you can also change the view type from main to Extra and if there is a viewing issue maybe you don't have Extra enabled you can change if setup with Extra as view and playback to main for both... I have yet to have an issue with playback of any of my Amcrest Devices since I set them all up over P2P.. I even have my Older Amcerst CVI dvr and my Dahua DVR connected with P2P along with my NVr'S and any camera that I have connected to another Dvr that don't have P2P Easy option so I connect to Camera directly.. It has P2P but isn't as easy and secure as Amcrest units seeing I don't have to contact or many any accounts on the Amcrest/Dahua ones but on my Hikvision DVR I have to make a P2P account and I am not happy giving out my Password for my unit to some server so I don't use their P2P

Re: Can't view IP2M-841 outside local network
I have the same issue as well.
contacted Tech Support. They tried P2P method but did not work. Finally they tried IP/DNS/Domain/DDNS type connection setup. It worked (I don't like it but have no choice because this method I have to do extra configuration on my router (have to do port forwarding for each IP camera with different port). Hopefully that AmCrest will release new update to fix the P2P method connection setup. I think this method is easy and painless for anyone who does not know much about networking.
