Why doesn't Amcrest IP work on my IPad? What does video detect keep resetting to Default?

Amcrest Pro and Amcrest Cloud both work normally on my IPad and smartphone. These programs also work on my laptop, Amcrest IP Config works only in Firefox on my laptop but not in I.E or on my IPad. The status shows that I'm connected when using the Ipdad, but I get no live picture and can't make parameter adjustments. I need to get Amcrest IP Config to work on my IPad as I will soon be losing my work PC.

There is no app in the App Store for Amcrest IP Config, but going to the camera IP on my network pulls up the program.

Second issue, the video detect keeps resetting itself every couple of days. I start getting literally 30+ emails overnight every time it resets. I use my laptop to fix it and save it only to have it whack out again in a few days. Any suggestions?

There is no Ip config app for Ipad. Also to view the camera on IPad, you need to use the Amcrest View Pro app. It does not work with Safari using the IP as the plugin is not compatible.

Aslo the video detection area reset could be because you have the camera added to Amcrest Cloud. The settings for the camera in cloud presides over the cameras web interface settings. So use the correct settings in the Amcrest cloud interface.

The detection area in Amcrest Cloud seem to be useless, i have a big square and a small square and 2 adjustments, that's it. I see no live picture or see any way to blank out trees blowing in the wind unless this is yet another IPad compatibility.

Unfortunately the motion detection region set up with the Cloud is currently very limited. We will definitely be improving this option in future.

I tried it on my PC and it is more functional than on IPad and yes, needs more functionality. That being said, should I just clear all zones in the other program and it will have no ill effects on the operation?

If you use the cloud service, set the zones using the cloud interface and leave the web interface of the camera as it is.
