Speed of scrolling
Speed of scrolling
Is there any way to adjust the speed that the camera moves? The software joystick on the app isn't analog and the camera only moves one speed... too fast. I wish you could just slightly move the joystick and have the camera rotate slower.

Hello Colbster,
The pan/tilt speed of the camera can only be adjusted by logging in to the camera directly from a computer. Once you are at the cameras live view page, you can change the speed on a scale of 1 to 8 with 8 being the fastest. This setting is right below the PTZ control. The following video is a tutorial on setting up cam on a computer.

Re: Speed of scrolling
Just to extend this question a bit...
Once the speed has been adjusted by logging directly in to the camera, does that speed "stay" with that camera?
In other words.. If I'm using Blue Iris and I find the speed to fast/sensitive, so I log into the camera and set it to, say, 1 or 2, is this now the speed that Blue Iris will use on that camera?
Thanx in advance for the info.
Jim

Hello jmartinamcrest,
Yes the settings should stay the way its set and Blue iris will use the same speed.

Re: Speed of scrolling
Excellent, just as I was hoping, thank you.
Re: Speed of scrolling
It has been my experience that I can change the PTZ Speed in the UI to 3 for instance, and once I exit or use the mobile app it always reverts back to 5.

I should say that I am using theIP4M-1051B with updated firmware and WEB Version 3.2.1.619604
