SD card keeps disappearing

IP2M-841 camera. I'll go to check screenshots and notice my SD card isn't there. Requires rebooting camera to show up. This is getting to be a huge problem as screenshots aren't getting recorded. Someone broke into my neighbor's car last week and don't have any screenshots because camera couldn't save to SD card. Why does this keep happening? It's pretty much defeating the purpose of a security camera.

You should do a hard reset, reconfigure the camera, format the sd card from web browser. turn on auto reboot everyday when you're sleeping. I reboot mine every morning. This seems to work for me when I used to record to sd. I don't do that anymore and now record to NAS ( Much more reliable).

I've got the same issue on my 841. Although I record to FTP, I still want recordings to go to SD card when FTP fails. Even though I set my camera to reboot every morning, it still loses connection to the SD card at some point during the day.

Apparently it had something to do with the SD card being nearly full. In Surveillence monitor auto maintenance I set it to delete files older than 31 days and that freed up a lot of space and SD card seems to be available all the time. Still it would be nice if someone from Amcrest could throw us a bone here, I would prefer to have snapshots on my SD card older than 31 days.
