Does Amcrest really need to waterstamp the video display with their logo? That is a needless distraction.
Also, I'm looking at a LivePreview, not a recording, so showing the date and running clock at the upper right is just distracting and needless. It's a LIVE view of the camera. That's now. I'm not in recording mode. All the overlays on the camera display in LiveView are just distractions.
Please add a user-configurable option to disable all the overlays in LivePreview mode, or just realize that they are superfluous in LivePreview mode and don't show them in the first place.

Hello VanguardLH ,
If you need time stamp on recording, it must be enabled in live view as well. The watermark can be changed to a custom one or disabled from the camera web interface. For this you need go to set up > Video > Overlay and you can find the option there.

Does/can the camera hardware support recording such that the date/timestamp is embedded within the video stream rather than being recorded onto it as an overlay? This method would allow one the option to turn off/off the date/time display while viewing live/recorded video, IMHO.

I had the same issue with the logo watermark as I post the webcam images to Weather Underground and it's distracting. Thanks for pointing the way to enabling or removing the watermarks.
