I was trying to set up my SMTP mail server for my NVR and, despite entering the correct parameters, the Email test always fail. That's when I realized that the password field for the SMTP server does not allow the insertion of some special characters, like the '&' that is used in my password. So when I enter my password, the software simply ignores when I clicked on this character, making the password incorrect. When using another account, whose password did not include the special character, the test was successful.
Amcrest, please correct this bug. If I can use the '&' character in my password at my email server, I should be able to enter it in the respective field of the NVR application.
