I recently got an amcrest POE IP2M-841E camera and would like to store the recordings on my Synology NAS. I ***DO NOT*** want to use the surveillance station app. When you open the Amcrest web view, there is a setting of Storag where you can configure the NAS IP and give the remote directory location where the videos should be stored. I want to use that. I filled up all the details, but still I am not able to see the videos on my NAS.
Any ideas what might be going on?
Note: My synology NAS has a username/password to login. Somehow, I did not find an option to confirgure that when you configure the NAS on the amcrest web view. Is that what is causing the amcrest not to store videos? There are no logs too
