Here is a Small video I made.. I understand you said you were using a Wifi and wanting to go to a Wifi this is a Video of my wifi camera that is currently on Wire but adding a Wifi.. I just made this it does have audio I need a new mic so keep that in mind... If these don't help enough I have multi Router setup if you need I can take out my wire, run only wifi and make a router to router change if that will help and I will setup a different camera for this task incase it is needed...

Yes, that was my initial question how to switch to another WIFI SSID without loosing connectivity and without connecting via cable.
As a side note I mentioned the issue of wrong live feed when using the browser plug-in. That is not a deal breaker as I get correct live feed via phone app and the PC app.

Sadly when you make a WIfi to Wifi change there is no way of doing it that you will not be disconnected from the current wifi.. It has to make that connection to the new Router.. What will happen is it will disconnect and sadly you will have to find out what the new IP address is as it will disconnect and not show you the new IP seeing there is no way to do that without being connected over Wire..

If you didn't turn off arp on your camera you can also find your new IP on your new router from a computer that is connected to the router, bring up the command prompt, then type arp -a or -g either will work and it will give you all the IP in that computer ability to read.. I would do the command before the change so you know the IPs there then do the command again after the change you will see the new IP added into the list of IP's Personally I would wait for about a minute after it kicks you off so it can get the IP and reboot with the new IP listed...

I am going to guess that your phone app is using P2P and that is why you get the right feed.. about ASP that would be odd that your getting right feeds if it was setup with IP however it might be that it was setup with P2P aka SN and not IP and then in that case it would be able to have the right feeds because it is pulling the cameras SN from Server data and not local IP from your network...

Let me clarify that even though I am trying to change the WIFI SSID the camera is connected to, the static IP will not change. Both WIFI access points do not assign IP addresses and the camera has a static IP so DHCP is not an issue in this case.
(The main router is ther DHCP server, and both WIFI access points are connected to same router via switch.)

I based my initial post on that assumption i.e. all the same network but different AP's each using it's own SSID. I feel that you have got an IP conflict somewhere that you need to trackdown.
My AMCREST Cameras:-
2 x IP3M-941B firmware V2.620.00AC00.3.R, Build Date: 2019-12-18
1 x IP2M-841B firmware V2.420.AC00.18.R, Build Date: 2019-08-03

Ok so here is the question because if your trying to use it as pick one or the other as a backup there is no such option in the CCTV camera world that I know of.. I own many different brands of IP cameras and cameras some from many many years ago even..

So if you are looking to just make a change over then you know what you have to do..

Log in WebUI, setup, Network, Wifi, Click the AP you want to connect to put in the Password apply and call it a day.. IT will change over and after about 45 second or a min it will be connected to new router..

However with your issue of being able to connect via different IP to same camera this is an issue where your we will call it Cam1 has 2 ips setup static and the Cam2 either has a different IP then you think or has same IP and sadly because it is Wifi connection it pulls the camera with best signal rather then the camera you want.. I would change that IP of the second camera to a different IP so your not having connection issues...

Way to know for sure if your system has 2 cameras on same IP is to unplug the one you know your connecting to and enter the IP and if that other camera comes up in WebUI then goto Setup, Network, TCP/IP *go to drop down and change over to Wireless if it is showing Cable) and now that your connected to that camera change the IP to one that isn't close or the same as the one you unplugged... Save it will close the window, wait 1 min then log back into the camera to make sure you have that IP once it is logged in plug the other camera back in now after a min log out of the other camera and type in the IP of the one you just plugged in and that camera should now come up. log out log back into the one you just changed to NEW IP and you should be on that camera without the other coming up...
