When I attempt to configure the 841 for NAS nothing happens.
I have a Seagate BlackArmor NAS which is configured for both SMB/CIFS and NFS.
I currently have TrendNet cameras recording to this NAS without any issues so my NAS works.
I understand that the 841 camera doesnt support SMB (it should), but NFS should work
I found the following logs in the Setup/Information/Log After reboot
7 2017-01-05 12:55:28 System Event End
8 2017-01-05 12:55:23 System Event Begin
9 2017-01-05 12:55:21 System NAS.status
Detailed Information
Time: 2017-01-05 12:55:21
User Name: System
Type: NAS.status
Content: Address: 192.168.1.250
Channel NO.: 1
Status: NAS connect failed
What does "NAS Connect failed mean"? How do I test the NAS connection?
Why is there no NAS Test button like other cameras?
NAS support on IP2M-841B

Hello madisonuser ,
It appears that the camera fails to connect to NAS with password encryption. If the device supports FTP, you can try setting that up and it should work.

"Password Encryption?" This is a public NFS share with R/W permissions that works with existing TrendNet cameras. What NFS password encryption are you talking about?
How can I test/debug this further? is there a debug mode or more of a log somewhere?
Amcrest FTP does not work either. It creates folders but does not write files since the Amcrest FTP appears to require Passive mode FTP only. The FTP mode should be a choice.

Hello madisonuser,
Some NAS devices uses authentication and the cam cannot connect to such devices. Yes FTP needs to use the passive more unfortunately.
