Does anyone have any experience with witch NAS drive would be best for saving video? I wa looking At the WD 3TB My Cloud Personal Network Attached Storage - NAS - On Amazon. Can this work with both the 1080p bullet camera and the 1080p indoor?
Also is it worth working with Amcrest Surveillance Pro with these 2 cameras or just go right to Blue Iris?
Thanks, still very new at all this

Nas drive - Blue Iris
Re: Nas drive - Blue Iris
I have tried to get the IP2M-841B to work with the WD My Cloud NAS storage. I have tried everything. I think it is time for Amcrest to investigate this problem, since the My Cloud is such a widely used NAS storage system.
Re: Nas drive - Blue Iris
Hello,
With the WD cloud NAS we have successfully set up recording with FTP option. The device also support FTP share so that is the best option to go with. With the NAS set up, the device has to support NFS and it has not had the most success with this device. Surveillance Pro works well on Windows computers but Blue iris has more options as a software.

Re: Nas drive - Blue Iris
Amcrest needs to add Username/Password for NAS access.
As of now NAS setup has to have NFS with access to Everyone to the share. This is really bad since Anyone can access the share and delete the files.
Please add User/Password to the NAS option.
