I have a couple IPM2-841 CAMERAS. They seem to work fine most of the time. My problem is, when the power goes out and the router reboots, the cameras don't come back online. I have to unplug the power from the cameras and reboot the cameras to get the cameras to show back up on the amcrest iphone app. This is a pain and I'm loosing confidence in these cameras. How do I get them to reset automatically after a power outage? Thanks for any help.

The cameras usually connect back automatically after power outage. Make sure that the camera has a static Ip address set for the wifi adapter under set up > Network > TCP IP.
Enabling auto reboot daily is another option that can ensure the cameras comes online after any such issue. This can be set under set up > System > Auto maintain.
This is also not a common issue and seems to specific to some routers especially after the internet is disconnected.

Thank you for the reply. I checked the auto reboot and it was set to every Wed. I changed it to auto everyday.
Under the TCP/IP , ethernet card set to wired ( not sure why) should it be wireless? The mode is set to DHCP. THE IP address is there but it’s blacked out because of DHCP. P2P is enabled and status is online.

I changed it to wireless and set as default. When I tried to change the IP to static it wouldn't let me save it. Kept getting an error ,can't save wireless and wired??? thanks for your help. I do appreciate it.

Make sure the wired and wireless IP are not the same. Set the Wired IP as the default one and try again.
