I have an IP4M-1068EW-AI with the following configuration set up under "AI"->"Smart Plan"->IVS (see image). When a person walks into the zone, the camera correctly moves to follow that person, but then stops after a few seconds and returns to the Preset 1 location. I'd like it to follow the person for a set duration. Can anyone help?

Re: IP4m-1068EW-AI Human tracking
So to help you some I would need to see what type of Scene you are working with? Here is an idea seeing I don't know what you are dealing with. The Tracking works off Percentage and so things may need to be adjusted to keep tracking. So when it detects the camera works off 25% of the FOV so if the camera isn't able to maintain that 25% it will return to home.
Personally I don't know the camera with real world use. So it is hard to say what is going on without seeing why or what it is doing when it no longer tracks. There are many settings that can affect the detection and tracking..
One thing looking at your picture I would try to pick one method of detection, Either Cross, Enter, or Appear. For me and my AI cameras I normally use Enter and when using Intrusion I don't use and <- -> I will do Enter only.. This way I am not getting a picture and video when they enter and again when they exit.. However in some cases when it is needed then I would use both but that would be a camera that is tracking Crowd control.. Also keep in mind that if you are having tracking issues in the day with PTZ then the detection at night of even something entering the zone might not take place at all. Meaning one of my AI tracking PTZ cameras at its current location with Tripwire enabled and auto tracking it don't even detect the passing of the tripwire at night under normal camera settings..

Re: IP4m-1068EW-AI Human tracking
Thanks for the response. The tracking size ratio was turned to 10%, and also the subject is actually larger when it quits, not smaller. So, I have the maximum size set to the full screen and the minimal size set a tiny box.
The camera is located on the soffit near to my front door and faces toward the driveway. The problems seem to occur when the subject gets close (as in nearly underneath) the camera, though the camera can easily pan there.
I don't actually see many settings to play with other than what I posted above. I did change the action to "appear" to see if that helps.
