IP4M-1041W really consumes 1041 Watts?

I have a IP4M-1041W and want to buy a simple UPS for it. Most cameras consume small wattages, 2W, 10W, etc, but this camera says that if it s 1041W camera.

What am I missing?

n00b here myself, but I can answer this.

it is NOT a 1041 watt camera.

its model (?) 1041, white.

1041B would probably be black.

I have the 'baby brother' 1080 version, IP2M-841W-V3. It does NOT draw 841W. Runs on a USB adapter, looks like yours does too.

5v, 1.5a so 7.5 watts. Max.

The amazon link for yours says it comes new with power supply, if you dont have one, try any USB micro cable into a USB wall wart.

The Amcrest 4116E NVR ad said it had a 1TB hard drive included in the top ad copy, and down in description did not.

When it came, I looked through ALL the copy in the ad, and saw it was NOT included.

So if you bought it, send a note. I was impressed how quick it was corrected.
