IP4M-1026, Controlling IR in Blue Iris?

Post by RichTechGuy »

I have a brand new IP4M-1026E (2.420.AC01.2.R, Build Date: 2017-07-20) and I have easily set it up in Blue Iris (4.7.9.0) however I do not seem to be able to control the state of the IR through the BI interface? I have tried several different PTZ pull down configurations in BI but it does not seem to matter. The IR does go on and off automatically when it should. The camera works very well otherwise! I have 9 other cameras all setup in BI. They are a mix of Amcrest and the Foscam. I can control them as expected. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Also, I am able to get some control from BI if on the IP4M-1026 I set the camera, configuration, night vision, mode to "off"... I am able to turn it back on vi BI, but then not back off.

If you don't find a solution, and with BI running, you should still be able to use the Amcrest web interface to change IR, or press the moon icon available on live view screen in Amcrest View Pro on your phone. Also, http commands could be sent to BI server to do it using Amcrest camera API but that is getting more complicated...
