IP3M-956E Records to Cloud But No Live View?
Strange one. Two cams, 956E and IP2M-844E, on Amcrest Cloud. Used IP Config program in windows to turn on UPNP to be able to remote access the cameras. 844E responded as expected, now remote accessible on iphone from anywhere, and has recording and live view. But now 956E just times out in live view. That means I can't adjust motion detection through Amcrest Cloud, because 956E won't enter live view mode. Tried everything, returning 956 to factory defaults using the IP Config. Don't see a way to do a hard reset on the 956E. What next?

Update-found the reset button. Deleted camera from cloud, set up camera and added it back to cloud. Same problem. Records, but no live view.

Another update-I have live view in IP Config application in windows, so this must be cloud problem. I will try deleting cloud account and resetting it up again.

Please Change the encode mode from the default H.264 High to H.264 Baseline. Please check the attached screenshot.
Try this if its still not working for you and see how it goes.

Thanks, Melvin. I wish I had gotten your suggestion earlier, as it might have been an answer. However, I followed through on my chain of thought and deleted my cloud account (it said that all files would be deleted, but obviously they were'nt), and set up a new one. It wasn't easy to do, because cloud kept trying to return to my old account. After deleting all the cookies I could attribute to Amcrest, I finally got a new account set up with just the camera I had the problem with. As of now it is working perfectly, live view and recording, accessible from anywhere on my iphone, as well as my computers. If all goes well, I will add back the other camera to the new account. I do like the cloud, as it is simpler and when it's working correctly, it's great.

A further observation is that Amcrest Cloud seems to store settings and changes (whether corrupt or not) not available for editing by any means I can find. Once the corruption that prevented my camera from displaying in live mode was set in cloud, nothing I could find to do would erase it. One would think deleting and re-adding a camera would clear such corruptions, but no. Thus the drastic step of deleting entire cloud account and creating a new one. Even then, I encountered difficulty setting up new account, as old cloud settings still lurk in the background somewhere, and clearing all cookies doesn't seem to get rid of them. By design, access is limited it seems.

Umpteenth update--Am I the only one who has had this problem? It's baaaaaak! Only this time it's the other camera. Melvin, this time I tried your suggestion above, but no change. As stated above, after deleting old cloud account and setting up a new one, all was OK for a few days, but no longer. How about people using the Amcrest NVR? Are any of you having problems like this? I don't want to change to a system that requires a dedicated computer, but this cloud situation just intolerable. It seems that cloud is making changes to my setup and I am not able to see how to fix things.

Melvin, re your screenshot, I am having the same issue and am using the camera wirelessly, which software is it that gets me to that screen to make that change to see if it helps.
