Changing Video Orientation On ASH47-W

Post by hawkeye62 »

I moved my ASH47 to a work bench because of a power issue in its normal place. I configure it to "flip" the video because its normal ceiling mount shows a "flipped" image. Now I installed it back in its original location. BUT I forget how I "flipped" it and I can't find any way to do it in Smart Home. Maybe this is one time when I could use ASP to "flip" the image without creating a "brick"? Any advice will be appreciated.

In smarthome app click Cog on top right, then scroll down to video settings and then click the rotate.

Thanks Revo, worked like a charm! So, I tried the same on my AD110DB. I have always wanted the video to be tilted down slightly. But, no luck, there is no video adjustment for the AD110. I guess I will have to physically tilt the camera down.

Best regards, Jim

Yeah keep in mind that the AD110 and AD410 should not have any adjustments to the device from a 3rd party system. If you do and on the AD410 even from with in Amcrest IP Config tools that is reported to allow adjustments to the camera caused mine to go into the Boot Recycle. So have to do a Factory Rest from back of device. Ad110 has same issue when first came out.. If you happen to find a way to make that change. I personally wouldn't without the idea that you might need to do a Button Reset at the Doorbell camera.. Glad you got it working with the ASH47 to get it back to normal for you.
Be Safe.
