I have 2 IP28-841B IPCAMS. Recently I have been trying to add one of them ("Front Door") to the Synology Surveillance Pro configuration.
In the course of this process, the Liveview feed resolution for Front Door has changed in the Surveillance Pro app (WIN10). It now comes through at (640x480). The other camera comes through at 1920x1080.
The resolution is the same on both feeds in the Android app.
Is there a way to adjust the Front Door resolution using Surveillance Pro?

Re: Changing Liveview Resolution on Surveillance Pro
In ASP Live View, right click the device in question and change the selection to "Main Stream".

Re: Changing Liveview Resolution on Surveillance Pro
Problem and keep in mind when you setup your camera to your Synology it will or can change things it sees fit to make a connection work for its liking.. You will need to make the adjustment in the device or hardware or software that made the change.. From what I read when you added it to your NAS was when this change was made.. So from that you would need to go to your Synology setup encoding for the camera in question and make sure it is set to 1080p as you wanted it.. Sadly when you have multi recorder setup you can run into date time issues, encoding issues and all sorts of things... Even having multi recorders like NVR and NVR setup to same camera can have issues or DVR and Nvr to same camera or even DVR to NVR pulling a PTZ camera that is analog can cause the 2 Recorders to shift dates and or times or Encoding issues when 1 don't like the setup of the other..
One of the main reasons I stop using ASP was to many issues around all cameras loading different times or encoding it was a Mess lol.. So now just keep it on 1 platform if I can..

Re: Changing Liveview Resolution on Surveillance Pro
Thank you! I found the setting in Synology and changed it to 1920x1080. This actually improved the quality of the picture in all the platforms.Revo2Maxx wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 1:00 pm Problem and keep in mind when you setup your camera to your Synology it will or can change things it sees fit to make a connection work for its liking.. I would dearly love to minimize the platforms but, unfortunately, I couldn't set up a camera connection wirelessly. I could only connect this camera via Ethernet. The other IPCAM is in the garage. I haven't decided if I want to connect via a Powerline or not. For now, I'm content to have this camera connected to Synology's Surveillance Station. It looks pretty cool!
Thanks again for your help!
