Okay folks, I am a former Foscam user so bare with me.
I have successfully installed my Amcrest camera, I can get on my local network & see it on my mobile device.
My questions are.
1. Is it possible to add this camera to my DVR setup, I have 2 camera systems, one PC based(TALON) & one on a DVR camera system (SWANN)
2. I am having problems seeing my camera remotely.
I have port forwarded 8080 on my Netgear Router
I own a Static Ip
How do I setup my new Amcrest cam to be seen remotely.
As I am writing this I am scouring the forums & googling the net for solutions.
Many thanks in advance.

Hello EnigmaPrime,
With the Amcrest IP camera, you need to set up port forwarding for three different ports in your router. They are the HTTP,TCP and UDP ports. To access the camera remotely from a computer browser you need to use your public IP:http port of the camera. Please take a look at the below video tutorial on setting up port forwarding for HDCVI DVR which is similar to the IP camera set up.
