Camera loses settings every few days

I have a 4MP IP4M-1026B

Every few days I get nailed with hundreds of detection emails at night, when I look at the camera settings, they always get reset to something random, not the small area I selected for detection.

What would cause the camera to make me reprogram the detection grid twice a week?

Loss of Power if the Memory Backup battery is dead it might revert back to what ever it was coded to when the memory state was last wrote to...

While I can't say that it will cure the issue however it might if you did a Camera Reset... This might then Write new info into the saved memory side after you make adjustments after setting it back up.. Only other thing is have the Camera sent into a Repair shop that can Replace the backup battery...
