Re: camera goes offline constantly
After upgrading my router and modem (Spectrum 2 piece), my cameras would go on and off line. Figured out it was because I did not have the NVR set for a static Ip address. Unchecked the DHCP box and they are now stable.

Hello @hydromaggi Welcome to the Forum
Also might want to look over the Ethernet cables that you got with your new Setup sometimes not always they can be inferior and cause IP cameras to have issues where our normal Computer wouldn't really suffer just speed of the connection might but most people don't test computer to computer speed test so they don't know... While I am not saying this is your issue however this can be the cause of going offline... Errors and lost packets...
Thanks for Sharing your Fix and maybe others might find it helpful

Re: camera goes offline constantly
I've had this same issue for the past year. What's most annoying is that once it loses connection, it cannot come back. Power cycling the cameras does nothing. they are unreachable. I've had to bring them in and plug ethernet into them to get the back connected again. Will never buy Amcrest again. And certainly not WiFi cameras again.
Re: camera goes offline constantly
I believe I am having the same problem.
On Windows and Android, remotely viewing via the internet, using P2P, Amcrest Surveillance Pro showings the camera goes offline (and sometimes comes back) every a few minutes.
Very frastrating.
It might have worked well under the same network yesterday via web UI.
I might try other streaming methods without using the official software.

I'd like to add some info.
It seems that the problem is solved when I turn off my PC and view only using the Android app.
It doesn't seem to work the other way around (turn off phone and view on PC only).

Hello and Welcome to the Forum
I personally would try this, I would log into ASP, Remove the camera, then setup the camera using the IP if your trying to access the camera from the computer in the same network. However if it is for remote then P2P is only way to work in ASP unless you Forward and use service like NO-IP.. Also can't use Pc-NVR if your connecting with P2P only local connection can record on PC-NVR..
Then use your phone while your away from the camera to view when you need.. Amcrest has told me in the past they don't Recommend using P2P in ASP..

Re: camera goes offline constantly
I am having the same issue. Camera randomly disconnects. I have 2 ash26 floodlight cameras. WiFi signal is strong -46 dbm and -49 dbm. Randomly cuts out. Any suggestions?
Re: camera goes offline constantly
Return it if you can and get a POE floodlight if they exist.
What the consumer market is suffering from is these junk wifi cameras that do nothing but compromise your network security. They are not even real ip security cameras and I bet just like my crappy Amcrest 410 doorbell, it doesn't even have an internal webgui and you have to use a phone app.
I will be selling my Amcrest doorbell on ebay in the future once I replace it with the Ubiquity POE doorbell since its a real ip camera.
