My PC is running Windows 10 Home Edition 64 bit. I installed Surveillance Pro 1.14.1.R.201 and got an error message saying it couldn't find msvcr100.dll which meant Visual Basic was not installed. Looking in Programs and Features, I see Visual Basic12.0.21005 _IS_ installed. I rebooted and got the same results, so I searched online for this error message and found that some were able to go beyond this message by copying msvcr100.dll to the /windows/system folder and also to the windows/sysWOW64 folder. Now I am getting an error message that says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Surveillance Pro with the same results. I let Visual Basic repair the installation with the same results.
Searching the forums here resulted in no hits.
Any help is appreciated. Surely this is operator error but I can't determine what is wrong.

I'm still getting this error message after downloading from the Google Drive link.Melvin wrote:Hello,

I did just do a fresh re-install Windows 10. It was working just fine in my previous install.
Re: Amcrest Surveillance Pro not loading
I uninstalled Amcrest Surveillance Pro, downloaded the software from the email message, installed it and rebooted just for luck. I still get the message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." I previously got a differentr error message saying Amcrest Surveillance Pro couldn't find msvcr100.dll so I copied it to Windows/system32 as recommended on several sites to correct this vbasic error message. Now the error message has changed.
I do have Amcrest Surveillance Pro running on a Windows 7 system that is scheduled to be upgraded to Windows 10, so I would like to get this working on the current Windows 10 system before upgrading the Windows 7 system to Windows 10.
