AD110 Doorbell event download from micro sd

How do you download an event from the micro sd card? I have tried on the Amcrest Smart Home android app and also in Amcrest Surveillance Pro on a mac (which indicates "Channel Channel 1 search failed." when i try to view events.

@junkcricket, welcome to the forum. i don't think one can download recorded ad110 videos directly from the micro sd card at this time. if i'm not mistaken, cloud service subscribers can download ad110 videos from the cloud to their phones. i'm not a cloud service subscriber hence my only two options are either to download the videos from the nvr, or i have to physically remove the micro sd card from the doorbell to retrieve the videos. the video files are of dav format.

Well for some odd reason mine just stopped working lol... Seeing I haven't done it many times I wanted to test it out again so I knew the Steps however when I just tried it says Network Error grrr...

Anyway when you have a Clip that was recorded. I Press the Pause, Then on the bottom right is magnify glass You can click that and it will have Share and download. So for what ever reason that clip don't like me I just did the second one in the list and it worked fine... This can't find the access on full screen so when the screen is with picture at the top of the screen you can get to it from there.. Then it saves to your phone folder...

Ok well I never needed to check it until now while that option is there sadly I thought it was for DL the footage and come to find out it only for the Image that is displayed lol.. So Disregard what I said Before... I tested but never looked and dl file just left in folder until just now.. Only an image.. Sorry I am only Human..

Strange... So looking at my ap. I do have a Downloaded file in my account My Saved Files. Only 1 saved on the 25th of last month and I can click on that and move to my Phone now I just need to remember how I got it there..

Edit: Ok incase someone already seen this above post I will edit it seeing I still can at this time... Anyway that isn't anything other then just a Manual Record off the live view area. That is saved there in the account you can can then save to your phone but that is not off the MSD and I can't find anything to DL recordings at this time.. Again sorry I was wrong...

The app on my android phone, only shows that symbol when I select a notification from the android pull down screen. That takes me into the app with the "download or share" options. When I select either it says "network error". That symbol doesn't show up when I review events straight in the app.

I tried adding the doorbell to amcrest surveillance pro on both mac and pc. When I try to view it in playback it says "channel channel 1 search failed".

Yeah I am not sure I would try using ASP with the Doorbell... Using a NVR and DVR at this time can be risky as well but as long as settings are not changed in the system for the doorbell it seems to work ok...

UPDATE: I wrote tech support..
the response-
"Unfortunately, the only way to retrieve any footage from the SD card is to remove the card from the unit and use a computer and extract the footage from there. I have mentioned this to our R&D team and they are trying to activate the feature to download recordings to your phone from the app in an upcoming update. Unfortunately, I do not have an eta as o when it will be released. I apologize for the inconvenience. "

it's my understanding cloud storage subscribers will be able to download videos from the cloud to the phoe. non-cloud storage users will have to remove the micro sd card to retrieve the recorded videos. i have the ad110 doorbell on the nvr hence i'm able to download ad110 doorbell recordings from the nvr.
