I have a bunch of cameras that I have going through a reverse proxy and would like to view the full HD stream in MJPG. From the API I see that I can enable the substream and access video in VGA by using
http://ip/cgi-bin/mjpg/video.cgi?subtype=1
However this only gives me 640x480. There is no option to set a higher res on substream number one.
When I try accessing the main stream with subtype=0, I get a connection reset error on all browsers, and the encode mode cannot be set to MJPG.
On my other dlink cameras I just got to the MJPG url and get the full HD stream rather than a smaller VGA stream. Is there a way to do this with Amcrest cameras so that I don't have to use the API to further proxy the stream? I just want to reverse proxy to a direct video feed in full HD.
Thanks!
Accessing mjpg stream in HD
Re: Accessing mjpg stream in HD
I'm having the same problem. The only right now is reverting back to the old firmware which has this function. Can someone share the firmware which contains MJPEG in mainstream? Thanks!
