Amcrest View Pro on Ipad

I installed AVP on my iPad and the cameras are working. I do not get any notifications on motion. I have it all set up but not working. I do not understand how the notifications process works, how does it know where my iPad is? As long as it's connected to a network with internet shouldn't it work? Is anybody using a iPad for this process?

I'm not able to get notifications to work either. Were you ever able to solve the problem?

@lrcasey I would look at installing iOS for iPhone on the pad, while I know it works better. Yet keep in mind right now a lot of people are having issues with alerts on both platforms.
