Good day!! I have a customer with a new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra phone, trying to get into the initial set-up of the app after installation. I have set up literally hundreds of phones on this app without a hiccup over the years. I get the "Start Amcrest View Pro" screen upon opening the app, instead of the familiar screen where you just tap the "Start" icon to begin adding the NVR to the app. I am unable to get past this page. It looks like an issue with permissions, so I enabled the location, camera, and microphone permissions in the S23's settings. This didn't help. I uninstalled the app, re-started the phone, and re-installed the app (several times) and still nothing. The only thing I see out of place is the greyed-out "Allow notifications" toggle (see the screen shot in the attachments). I am unable to allow the notifications, as the option is greyed out. I believe this may be the reason I can not get into the app.
The phone's software version, etc. is also in the attachments.

Hello and Welcome to the forum..
I am going to guess that maybe there is an issue with the newer version. I have the same software running on my Samsung phone. only difference I can think is that I installed the software before my update to the new Android 14 update and maybe mine works because of that.. I did just install AVP2 however that is the newer version of Amcrest View Pro. It still has some minor things it needs to make me want to use it full time. So I switch back and forth between the 2 AVP versions. I would make a ticket and see if Amcrest could offer you an older AVP to try and install then if that one works do an upgrade to the newest?

Same thing has happened to me and I am using Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. I hope there is a fix for this soon. Please (Amcrest support) update us Asap as this feature is extremely important. I am unable to get alerts and this would defeat the whole purpose of IVS, and other features. Thank you in advance!
